1988 video game

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (1988): 5 real places Wikidata records as its setting in the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt. Where the game takes place, not where it was made: a game is filmed nowhere, so this is the only kind of location it has.

Where it is set

Also per Wikipedia: setting categories

Wikipedia’s setting categories list 4 more places. A category is an editor’s judgement rather than a sourced statement, so these are listed apart, never mixed into the statement list, and the claim links straight to where it came from.

Why there is no pin

Wikidata records this game as set in Bermuda Triangle, and nothing finer. That is true and it is not a place: a dot in the middle of it would claim something nobody wrote, so the statement is left as a sentence.

This page exists because that is a better answer than silence. If a real place belongs here, it can be added to Wikidata, and this page fills in on the next rebuild.
