Le 150 scene più famose mai girate in esterni

Ogni riga è un luogo reale e la produzione più trattata girata lì. L’ordine deriva da un solo numero, il numero di lingue di Wikipedia in cui quella produzione ha un articolo, quindi la classifica è qualcosa che puoi verificare e non un’opinione da accettare sulla fiducia. Un film diverso in ogni riga, 34 paesi, 1922 to 2023.

Cosa conta qui come scena

Wikidata registra che una produzione è stata girata in un luogo. Non registra mai quale scena, quindi una riga afferma un abbinamento e nulla di più. Cinque regole limitano questi abbinamenti a luoghi in cui potresti metterti in piedi:

  • Solo luoghi segnati in un punto preciso. Le riprese che Wikidata registra in modo generico, da qualche parte a Praga e non a un indirizzo, sono sulla mappa ma non in questa classifica.
  • Solo luoghi descritti da Wikipedia in 8 lingue o più, che è la differenza tra una cattedrale e un palazzo di uffici che una volta ha ospitato una troupe.
  • Niente teatri di posa né backlot. Uno studio è il luogo in cui una produzione è stata realizzata, non un posto in cui è andata.
  • Niente di usato da più di 20 produzioni. Un posto così frequentato è una struttura di lavoro, e non appartiene a nessuna di esse.
  • Una scena per produzione, il suo luogo meglio documentato, così che ogni riga sia un film diverso.

Ogni riga dice anche cos’è il luogo, con le parole di Wikidata. Dove Wikipedia in inglese registra cosa vi è stato girato davvero, quella frase è citata sotto la riga e collegata all’articolo da cui proviene: 88 delle 150 righe ne hanno una. Le altre si fermano all’abbinamento, perché la risposta onesta a una scena che nessuno ha descritto è uno spazio vuoto.

La copertura di Wikipedia misura quanto si scrive di qualcosa, che non equivale a quanto sia buono o a quanto sia memorabile la scena. È semplicemente la fama che questo atlante può contare.
